Railway Recruitment Cell, East Coast Railway, notified Act Apprentice engagement for about 1,599 seats. Public reports said registration opened from 26 August 2026 on rrcbbs.org.in. Seats are trade-wise and unit-wise. You need an ITI certificate (NCVT or SCVT as accepted in the notice) in the relevant trade. This is apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, not a permanent Group C railway job. Stipend and training period follow the official notice and NAPS or railway rules printed in the PDF.
Merit is generally prepared from ITI marks. A written exam is not assumed unless RRC clearly writes it. Medical fitness at the allotted unit is required after document check.
