The National Testing Agency declared UGC-NET June 2026 results for 84 subjects on 28 August 2026. Scorecards are available on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. According to the public result notice, 7,73,806 candidates registered in those 84 subjects and 6,07,151 appeared. Qualification counts published with the result are 4,241 for JRF plus Assistant Professor, 45,904 for Assistant Professor plus PhD admission, and 97,434 for PhD admission only. Results of English, Commerce and Sociology are not in this batch because NTA will re-conduct those papers on 9 and 10 September 2026.

Category-1 is JRF plus Assistant Professor plus PhD eligibility. Category-2 is Assistant Professor plus PhD. Category-3 is PhD admission only. Universities still run their own admission calendars after NET.
